I've been around the block before.

I've had the privilege to work with some incredible companies and help them achieve their growth goals. Some results I'm most proud of:

  • At Bamboo (a trusted performance marketing agency) I was the growth lead for Prose helping them scale right as they were closing their Series B round in 2018.

  • At Billie, I lead the acquisition team and worked directly with the founders leading up to their acquisition by Edgewell in 2021.

  • I helped scale Honeylove through expanding their paid social social program and instituting processes to help with creative production & reporting, measurement stack building and alignment, email planning, and more.

  • At Rothy's, I led the growth approach to expanding into their new product category (bags) and systemized the process for launching new skus to maximize incremental returns while minimizing disruption to BAU performance.

  • Also at Rothy's, I co-built an in-house ad creative process that allowed for proactive planning up to 3 months without sacrificing flexibility or our ability to quickly respond to emerging top performers.

  • Finally, at Rothy's I navigated their paid social program through the first year of the COVID pandemic - it was no small feat selling luxury bags and shoes when everyone was staying inside!

Hi, I'm Lauren.

For the past decade+ I've been working with agencies, and DTC brands to get them to the next level. My varied approach of data + creativity paired with a deep knowledge of paid social growth levers has given me a perspective and track record of driving incremental and sustainable growth.

A few things!

  1. I have worked both agency-side and client-side so I have a unique perspective that makes me proactive with my communication and recommendations while also robust with my cross-functional expertise and recommendations.
  2. My first job was as a project manager, and I've taken that training with me to prioritize building repeatable systems, proactive processes, and collaborative communication. I give you the tools to repeat this after our engagement is done so you leave feeling more organized than when we started.
  3. I've been incredibly fortunate to have worked for some of the leading DTC brands during their high-growth stages - running paid social for fast-growing brands is my bread and butter.
  4. I have robust experience with both creative generation and measurement. I have an eye and an understanding of what creative *works*, while also having a deep understanding of measurement stacks and how to maximize your incremental output.
  5. I really, really like what I do!

As someone who has worked in-house and at agencies, sometimes when you've worked on an account for an extended period of time it is incredibly helpful to have someone with fresh eyes and ideas come in to help inject some new perspectives to your team. My intention is to never replace or demoralize your team - rather, my goal is to inspire and energize them by taking some work off their plate and throwing over inspiration and ideas for them to run with.

At this time, I'm not exploring full-time opportunities.

While I'm always happy to hop on a call to discuss strategy, I don't do ongoing or project work with companies that haven't launched paid media yet. I've found that my favorite part of the growth process is accelerating growth for products that are moving beyond early adopters, and that's also where I've had the most success with my clients.
